Donald Trump’s time in the White House is now limited following his loss to Joe Biden in the elections. Following his election defeat, “Borat” actor Sacha Baron Cohen also took another swipe at Trump by revoking his “job offer” for the outgoing president.
Cohen and Trump have been at odds since the controversy surrounding the president’s attorney Rudy Giuliani. Trump has since blasted Cohen and his film “Borat Subsequent Moviefilm,” and claimed that the actor tried to scam him and called him a “creep.” Cohen since responded by thanking him for the free publicity for the movie while also offering Trump a job offer to play “racist buffoons.” As a Biden administration would be settling in the White House by January, Cohen made another swipe at Trump on social media.
“Donald — I know you’re out of work and I know I offered you a job. But your performance this past week was tragic and sad. Offer rescinded,” tweeted Cohen.
Cohen’s tweet also comes after Trump’s sudden influx of tweets claiming that he has won the elections over the weekend. Twitter has since flagged the posts for false information. This also comes as Trump has refused to concede to Biden even with the loss and even as senior Republican officials have begun to step away from him. Trump has repeatedly reasserted his claims of voter fraud and election fraud without evidence to support his claims. Nevertheless, Republicans are still determined to wage legal battles on the process.
Meanwhile, a poll by the Observer showed that Biden was also preferred by voters in the United Kingdom more than Trump. 57 percent of UK voters preferred the incoming president while 16 percent preferred Trump. This also includes Conservative UK voters, as 40 percent preferred Biden compared to 28 percent that favored the outgoing president.
Voters also weighed in on the US elections, with 62 percent saying that they believed the election was conducted fairly and properly. 67 percent of voters did not believe Trump’s claims of electoral fraud. 58 percent of UK voters also said that a Biden presidency would be beneficial for both the US and the world.
